About Us - The Team at Look Inside

Core Values and Leadership

Picture

We seek clarity as the Lord guides when we consider the stories of our life that hold confusion. Truth takes back ground that evil steals with whispered lies.

As we engage our story and the stories of others we do so with honor.  We honor all that engage their story by loving them where they are.  We never push or require more than anyone desires to walk.

As we explore our story and who we are created to be, we engage others and ourselves with kindness. Kindness is what speaks against what evil intends for harm.

We commit to provide a sacred place of comfort and care.  We are free to be honest about ourselves and our own emotions. In a safe place we listen and do not interrupt or judge.  A safe environment allows what is hidden and breaking through to come into the light.

When we engage our stories with honor and kindness, finding clarity in a safe environment there can be exponential growth and impact. This is everyone’s desire for each other.

Rob Brown

Robert Hugh Brown's passion is transformation. His leadership in corporations, small businesses, groups and with individuals has brought powerful transformation on many levels. He is passionate about growth in every area of life for himself and others. Rob and his wife co-founded Look Inside Inc, an organization focused on pers-onal transformation and growth.

Rob grew up in Indiana and met his wife, Francie, at Purdue University where he received a bachelor of science degree. Hugh then worked with over 90 companies in the US and abroad, leading over 500 workshops. He would start with a baseline and move towards improvement, much like the work he does now in starting with story and moving towards growth.

In 2010, he began to lead retreats that brought freedom and healing to men dealing with loneliness, addiction, and past trauma. These retreats spread across the country and ultimately birthed the organization, Look Inside in 2013.

During 2014-15, Rob attended the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. This intensive year-long training under Dr. Dan Allender was rooted in trauma-focused narrative therapy. There, in Seattle, he was faced with his own need to grow. It was this training that catapulted Rob into formal "story-work". He continues to facilitate men and women individually, and in small groups to engage, with honor and kindness, their God-given stories, finding clarity, growth, and purpose.

With Rob's continued passion for transformation, he leads Look Inside and is also a speaker, author, and facilitator. He has had the fortune of raising his 4 children with his wife Francie. Their free time activities include hiking and basketball. Their family is growing as they are new grandparents. He and Francie have been married 23 years and live in East Tennessee.

Francie Brown is passionate about people. It is this passion that has propelled her to lead women's ministries, work-shops, retreats and to teach her children at home. It is her deep desire to encourage those that she engages to live to their fullest potential. She is passionate men and women growing into something bigger than what even they imagine.

Francie grew up in Indiana with a heart to teach. She attended Purdue University where she received a bachelors degree in education. It was there that she met her husband, Rob. He and Francie lived in Indiana, Ohio, Alabama and Tennessee as they raised and homeschooled their children. In 2012, she began to lead weekend women's retreats in Tennessee, Minnesota and Indiana then across the country. It was because these retreats began to grow that Rob and Francie co-founded Look Inside Inc. in 2014.

During 2014-15, Francie attended the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. This intensive year-long training under Dr. Dan Allender was rooted in trauma-focused narrative therapy. There, in Seattle, Francie dove into her own story-work that resulted in the beginning of her own healing journey. It was this training that accelerated Francie's "story-work" with others. She continues to lead women and men with honor and kindness, through their God-given stories, finding clarity, growth, and purpose.

Francie's love of teaching is still evident in her engagements. She loves to speak and teach about story and the impact of childhood stories on us as adults. She co-leads Look Inside, leads retreats, speaks and is now an author. Francie continues love her children and is thrilled to have a new granddaughter.
